Desayuno. ¡Bienvenidos a París! A su llegada al aeropuerto o estación de tren, les estará esperando nuestro traslado compartido hacia el hotel. El resto del día quedará libre para que comiencen a sentir la magia de la capital francesa, paseando por sus bulevares, descubriendo sus cafés o simplemente relajándose tras el viaje. Alojamiento. (A) Desayuno. ¡Bienvenidos a la ciudad del amor y la luz! A su llegada al aeropuerto de París, nuestro traslado les llevará al hotel del tour. El resto del día quedará libre para comenzar a disfrutar del encanto parisino: pasear por sus bulevares, probar un café en una terraza o simplemente descansar antes de esta inolvidable aventura. Día 2º (lunes): París
Desayuno. Por la mañana realizaremos una visita panorámica por los principales atractivos de la capital francesa. París, vibrante y llena de historia, fue cuna de la Revolución Francesa y epicentro cultural durante la Belle Époque. Admiraremos la icónica Torre Eiffel, el Museo del Louvre, el Arco del Triunfo, y recorreremos barrios encantadores como Montmartre o las orillas del Sena. Tarde libre para seguir explorando a su aire y dejarse conquistar por el ambiente romántico de la ciudad. Alojamiento. (D)
Día 3º (martes): París / Ruán / Étretat / Le Havre (aprox. 220 km)
Desayuno. Salida hacia Ruán, ciudad medieval célebre por su catedral gótica inmortalizada por Monet y por ser escenario del martirio de Juana de Arco. Continuaremos hacia Étretat, famoso por sus majestuosos acantilados de tiza blanca y sus arcos naturales, que inspiraron a artistas y pintores. Tiempo libre para almorzar y disfrutar del paisaje. Por la tarde llegaremos a Le Havre, ciudad portuaria reconstruida tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial y declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Alojamiento. (D)
Día 4º (miércoles): Le Havre / Mont Saint-Michel / Rennes / Nantes (aprox. 370 km)
Desayuno. Hoy visitaremos uno de los lugares más mágicos de Francia: el Mont Saint-Michel. La entrada a la abadía está incluida para descubrir este conjunto arquitectónico único con vistas impresionantes sobre el mar. Pasearemos por sus calles empedradas antes de continuar hacia Rennes, capital de Bretaña, donde recorreremos su casco antiguo y la Plaza del Parlamento. Tiempo libre para almorzar. Finalizamos el día en Nantes, donde admiraremos el Castillo de los Duques de Bretaña y conoceremos la Isla de las Máquinas, un proyecto artístico inspirado en Julio Verne. Alojamiento. (D)
Día 5º (jueves): Nantes / La Rochelle / Burdeos (aprox. 350 km)
Desayuno. Salida hacia La Rochelle, encantadora ciudad portuaria con fuerte herencia marítima. Pasearemos por su Puerto Viejo custodiado por torres medievales y dispondremos de tiempo libre para almorzar. Por la tarde continuaremos hacia Burdeos, ciudad refinada y elegante, célebre por sus vinos y su espléndida arquitectura. Visitaremos la Place de la Bourse y su “Espejo de Agua”, y contemplaremos el imponente Gran Teatro. Tarde libre para disfrutar del ambiente en el barrio de Saint-Pierre. Alojamiento. (D)
Día 6º (viernes): Burdeos / Poitiers / Tours (aprox. 340 km)
Desayuno. Mañana libre en Burdeos para seguir descubriendo esta ciudad vibrante o pasear junto al río Garona. Después partiremos hacia Poitiers, donde conoceremos la Place Charles de Gaulle y la iglesia de Notre-Dame la Grande. Tiempo libre para almorzar. Continuaremos hacia Tours, a orillas del río Loira, una ciudad con aire medieval y ambiente joven. Por la tarde, paseo por su casco antiguo y la animada Plaza Plumereau. Alojamiento. (D)
Día 7º (sábado): Tours / Chambord / Orléans / París (aprox. 270 km)
Desayuno. Hoy nos espera uno de los iconos del Valle del Loira: el Castillo de Chambord. Su monumental arquitectura renacentista, sus 400 habitaciones y su famosa escalera de doble hélice lo convierten en un lugar único. La entrada está incluida. Tras la visita, seguiremos hacia Orléans, ciudad de Juana de Arco, donde conoceremos su catedral y la Plaza del Martroi. Tiempo libre para almorzar. Por la tarde, regreso a París para pasar nuestra última noche en la ciudad. Alojamiento. (D)
Día 8º (domingo): París / Vuelo de Regreso
Desayuno. Día libre para aprovechar los últimos momentos en París antes del traslado al aeropuerto. Fin de nuestros servicios. (D

What can I expect from this trip?
You will live an unforgettable experience, away from the bustle of everyday life. This is a trip that you can do in total liberty, on foot or by bicycle, and at your own pace as this is not a race. Your luggage (maximum 1 piece, 44 lbs) will be carried for you from one destination to the next. We provide you with all the necessary expert advice, information and documentation that you require to complete your journey safely: local maps detailing your route, vouchers for your lodgings, tags for your luggage and a travelers notebook for your trip with descriptions on each daily walking or biking route.
What is the “Compostela”
The “Compostela” is a certificate of accomplishment given to pilgrims that have completed the Camino de Santiago upon presentation of your stamped "Credendial" or Pilgrims Passport. In order to receive the “Compostela” you must complete the last 100 km walking or 200 km cycling. You obtain the “Compostela” at the Office of the Pilgrim located a few meters from the Platerias façade of the Santiago Cathedral.
Where do I obtain a Pilgrims Passport?
The "Credencial" or Pilgrims Passport will be provided to you by Petrabax in Spain at the beginning of your trip. It is part of the travel materials and insurance informaion provided upon arrival to your starting point.
Where do I receive my trip documentation?
You will receive most of your documentation prior to your departure so that you can review it and prepare for your Camino. Other documentation will be delivered at your first hotel.
When can I take this trip?
You can take this trip starting any day of the year. The Camino offers diverse countryside and conditions depend on the season and time of year. Consult the weather of Galicia before arranging your trip. Rainy season is from November through February. March through June and September through October are optimum months for the Camino. The summer months of July and August can be somewhat more challenging due to the warmer weather.
What is the profile of the traveler on this trip?
This trip is suitable to any person who enjoys a normal physical condition. We do however highly recommend that you do some training, especially those persons who are not accustomed to walking or cycling for longer periods of time.
Can I travel with children?
Yes, older children are welcome on the trip as long as they are energetic and accustomed to walking long distances on successive days.
